When Silence Becomes Music

This drawing speaks about listening beyond sound.

At the center, I drew a violin—an instrument of resonance—resting not in hands, but within a field of water and time. The bow is touched by a bird in flight, a symbol of spirit and freedom, reminding us that music is not created by force, but by presence. When we listen deeply, life itself begins to play us.

Water flows through the image as memory and vibration. Each drop carries a ripple, each ripple a consequence—showing how every tone, thought, and emotion travels outward into the greater field. The desert and surrounding landscape recall silence, emptiness, and vastness—the place where sound is born.

An open doorway of light appears as an invitation: a passage between worlds. The hourglass marks the meeting point of time and eternity, while the droplet falling into water becomes a moment of awareness—now.
